Editorial and disclosure policy

What we publish

FameTally publishes estimated net worth profiles of public figures, along with ranked lists, comparisons and explanatory pages. We cover people whose finances are a matter of genuine public interest and about whom enough can be documented to write responsibly.

Sourcing standards

• Every hard figure is attributed. If the source is a filing, we name the filing. If it is a report, we name the outlet and the year.
• We prefer primary sources: filings, court records, property records and league contract data over aggregators.
• We label estimated net worth as an estimate on first mention, every time.
• We never state a private person's finances as settled fact.

Fact checking

Before publishing, a second reviewer checks that each figure traces to its cited source and that the range matches the quality of the evidence. Profiles are then re-checked on the review cadence set out in our methodology.

Independence and disclosure

Our estimates are not for sale. No individual, representative or advertiser can pay to change a figure, raise a ranking or remove a profile. Where a page carries advertising or an affiliate link, it is disclosed and kept away from the fact panel and the first data table.

Privacy and use

We publish only information already in the public domain or derived from it. We do not publish home addresses, private contact details, account numbers or anything that would put a person at risk. Content on this site is for general information and is not financial advice. By using the site you accept that all figures are estimates and may change.
